Skyfindr is a "What's Up" program runs on the Psion Siena palmtop. It is being migrated to the Palm Pilot at this time. Skyfindr allows the user to identify objects viewable from his or her observing location on any specified date and time. The user may also set a local horizon for the observing location. Skyfindr operates against an internal database of about 3000 objects. The object list was culled from the NGC catalog to magnitude 13. The database can be subsetted using user defined catalogs. The Messier and Caldwell catalog is supplied with the product.
